Well we have finally got to the end of our Second year and what a year we have had, settling in at Brogdale we did the Cider and the Apple festival Hog Roasts and intend to be doing al the three Festivals this coming year.

During the Winter we did the Salvation Army's Remembrance Sunday and Christmas Dinners working with the Court Yard Restaurant at Brogdale.

With the move to Brogdale has brought us so much more in touch with our Customers, and we are now working Closely with the Court Yard Restaurant at Brogdale Market Place putting on Hog Roasts and BBQ outside the Restaurant on Special days and Festivals.

The last Bank Holiday of the year saw us doing 16 different jobs from the Friday to the Monday.

We have been again inspected this year by the Local Health and Environment officers due to our move to an new area and we are proud to say we again got awarded the top of award of 5.

This was not only for our four outside catering units but also our new Unit and the food management documentation that we keep.

We are working really closely with the Butcher of Brogdale and are pleased to know that we are the only Commercial Hog Roast Company  alongside our Limited Company that are supplied on a regular basis the award winning Apple fed pork, so if any other hog roast company boasts that they get their meats from the Butcher of Brogdale, the owner has asked that you ring him to tell him who it is using his name.

We know that our professional approach in preparing and cooking fresh free range meats from our Butcher of Brogdale makes a winning partnership as the Butcher of Brogdale knows that his name is linked with the success and testimonies that Spitting Pig Kent get and the Quality of the meats makes our company so much better than others hog roasters trading in our area.

We are proud to have photos of the official Orchard stamp on our pigs, which can only be stamped by the abattoir if the history and life style of the pig is known, We also have the official stamp of English outdoor proving that our pigs are all free range.

We use a special glaze and salt to get the best of our crackling and our salad range is growing so have a look at the new salads being offered.

We also have a new all inclusive Canape range which have gone down well this year at corporate ,Weddings and parties wanting that extra special treat to their guests.

We have traveled far and wide this year, from Middlesex, Surrey to East and West Sussex, Essex and all parts of Kent. We can boast catering for the Queens Hospital in central London and we also catered at the old Herne hill Olympic Velodrome of 1947 which is currently going through demolition of the old stands and new stands being built.. It was great to see the old pavilion and stands of the 1947 period and the new track and plans for the future. Other locations we have had the pleasure of catering at some lovely locations this year, The King Edward the V11 Hospital in London, The Pavilion Tea Rooms Greenwich Park, Florence House Seaford Sussex, East Court East Grinstead, Goodnestone Park Gardens nr Wingham Kent, Whitstable Castle, Ratsbury Barn Tenterden, Chilham Village Hall, SunSet Barn, Whetsford Farm. We started the year doing weddings in Snow drifts and blizzards, during the summer we were catering in 39 degrees, of heat, on other days we have been wet through with heavy down pours of rain, Even the last two weeks have been so different the first lovely sunshine and then this Autumn started full heavy rain and strong winds, a sure sign that the Winter is coming. Well Winter came and the rain kept falling and Christmas being one of the Wettest in years. So much flood water everywhere and the bookings are now becoming to a trickle.

We catered through out the year,  doing Halloween parties in London , Christmas  office Parties. Nothing stopped us putting on our catering.

Last but most important is for my wife and I to thank our close team of chefs and assistants, who have put in a so much hard work this last year and made our business a success, some of the teams were new and had to learn quickly, we reacted to feed back from the customers, and our latest testimonial page is full of lovely comments from our satisfied customers, Thank you from my staff for your kind words, they all enjoyed catering for you.

With Christmas out of the way and the New Year having been celebrated I am pleased to say that we are currently booking in some lovely weddings for the New year 2014 and also for the Year 2015.
